The Remick Salt Marsh consists of 1.51 acres of salt marsh and .55 acres of upland on either side of Joy Place near Gammons Road. It was given to the Trust in November 2011 by Dorothy I. Remick.
To the south the Remick property abuts a 6.3 acre salt marsh owned by the Town of Cohasset between houses on Jerusalem Road and houses on that side of Joy Place. This Town property in turn abuts the Trust’s Giuggio Scenic Overlook property on Jerusalem Road.
These properties together create a contiguous swath of 9 acres of protected marshland and upland between Jerusalem Road and Joy Place near Little Harbor.
