In 2016, the Trust purchased 34 acres of densely wooded habitat off Fox Run from the White Family. It is approximately 2/3 wetland and the remainder is upland area with ledge outcroppings.
The land protects a wildlife corridor between the Cohasset Golf Club, the Town of Cohasset RTF, and Surry Drive. It includes the headwaters of Rattlesnake Run, the only freshwater tributary to Straits Pond.
