This .44 acre property is just over the Cohasset line adjacent to Straits Pond in Hull. Purchased in November 2005 for a token amount, it was effectively donated to the Trust by the Straits Pond Land Trust, which was controlled by the Winsor family. The CR is held by the Weir River Watershed Association. Straits Pond connects to the Weir River watershed via a culvert under Hull Street at West Corner.
The property consists of low lying beach, grasses and some shrubs, and offers views over Straits Pond.
There is a granite bench on the property dedicated to Marion and Paul Winsor, parents of the donors, and a kiosk with information on the Straits Pond watershed that was part of an Cohasset Troop 28 Eagle Scout project.
