Adams Property

adams-2-2012In December 1999, brothers Robert and James Adams of Glastonbury CT deeded to the Trust a 5.25 acre woodland property that had been the backyard to their family home on King Street.

Combined with Campbell Meadow, Andrus Island, Wheelwright Highlands and the Peppermint Brook Property, it is an important conservation holding for the protection of the Lily Pond watershed, the source of Cohasset’s drinking water supply. It also preserves a wooded roadside area as wildlife habitat.

The property is extensively wet, overgrown with cat briar, and has no trail system.
