The expense of maintaining properties, as well as that of land surveys, soil tests and associated legal fees cannot be funded solely from the Trust's endowment interest.
Contributions are vital to sustain our annual operations. Please make a donation to support our efforts. Thank you.
Support the Trust. Donate.
Because the Trust’s Directors are volunteers, donations are applied to the general fund and are used solely for the stewardship of our properties, operational expenses, and land acquisition.
Please make a donation in support of our efforts. Even a small donation makes a big difference.
If you prefer not to donate online, please send your check made payable to The Cohasset Conservation Trust to: PO Box 314, Cohasset MA 02025
If your employer has a matching program for charitable donations, please consider submitting your donation for matching funds.
The Trust is a tax-exempt organization under the IRS codes. All donations are deductible to the full extent of the law.
While the public is welcome to visit Trust properties, their use is governed by the nature of the land and the wishes of the donors.
Some properties lend themselves to recreational use, while public access to others may be limited, and still others may be restricted to wildlife habitat or watershed protection.
As you walk our trails, please take adequate steps to protect yourself, your children and your dogs.
Community Service Hours
Many schools have Community Service Requirements and volunteering can count towards the needed credit. As an example, the Trust conducts an Annual Earth Day Event where CHS athletes and students cleanup Bassing Beach and other properties. Find out about this and other volunteer opportunities.
Scouts have been a great resource for the Trust. Troop 28 scouts have built trails, foot bridges and informational kiosks as Eagle Scout projects. Find out how your troop can get involved.
Great Brewster Woods is special to the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church’s 'Keepers of the Earth' so they volunteer to clear trails and pick up trash. Is there a property that is special to you?
